Benzene Handling Awareness

Scope and Objective:

The Scope and objectives of ” Benzene Handling Awareness training ” to educate participants on the potential hazards associated with benzene exposure in the workplace. The training focuses on understanding the health risks, safe handling procedures, regulatory compliance, and best practices to minimize exposure and ensure a safe work environment.

The course includes an overview of benzene, a summary of benzene safety and health hazards, and a listing of benzene safe work practices, as well as the requirements for monitoring employee exposure to benzene, communicating benzene hazards to employees, and maintaining benzene-related records.

The Benzene Handling Awareness training  should be taken by anyone who has occupational exposure to benzene, either one time or on an ongoing basis, should understand the hazards of exposure to benzene and be familiar with safe work practices that minimize that exposure. Persons who may be frequently exposed to benzene include steelworkers, refinery workers, tire manufacturing workers, printers, shoemakers, lab technicians, gas station employees, and firefighters.

This course will benefit learners by providing them with an awareness of benzene and providing best practices for working with benzene in oil and gas producing facilities.

The Benzene Handling awareness training  is designed as per below standard

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations
OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration

It is an on line course and is accredited by Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Target Audience:

 Persons who may be frequently exposed to benzene, which includes steelworkers, refinery workers, tire manufacturing workers, printers, shoemakers, lab technicians, gas station employees, firefighters, Seafarers, Industrial Workers etc.

Please bring following documents on the first day of the Course.
